About Haider Ali
I'm an engineer and founder who learns by building, and I've been building software, hardware and 3D since starting a 3D studio as a teenager: H3D Studios, a graphics and simulation studio I grew to $10K MRR with clients including Snapdragon, Unity and the ATP. That path led to King's College London, where I read AI & Computer Science (2025–2028, expected).
I'm Founder & CEO of ClearZone, an angel-backed startup connecting the purpose of a physical space to how technology behaves inside it. I raised a £15k SEIS round, wrote all of the software and took FocusField to a consumer-ready, CE-certified, patent-pending device, and I was one of eight selected for Strand House. I also lead KCL Robotics' humanoid program and its competition teams, lead an LLM bias research team at Algoverse, and built quantum error-correction decoders at Turing BioSciences over summer 2026.
I'm driven by hard problems across software, hardware and AI, and by building technology that helps people focus in an increasingly distracted world. I work across the stack, from CAD and circuits to firmware, apps, cloud and research, and I'm happiest when a project demands all of them at once.

Quick facts
- Who is Haider Ali?
- Haider Ali is a London-based engineer and founder: Founder & CEO of ClearZone, an angel-backed startup building technology that helps people focus, and an AI & Computer Science student at King’s College London (2025–2028, expected).
- What is ClearZone?
- ClearZone (ClearZone Digital Ltd) is a London startup founded and led by Haider Ali as Founder & CEO, building a network that connects the purpose of a place to how technology behaves in it. Its first product, FocusField, creates an adjustable focus zone (about 20 cm to 10 m) where chosen apps lock automatically on paired phones; it is CE-certified and patent-pending, ClearZone is angel-backed, and education is its first institutional market.
- What does Haider Ali research?
- At Algoverse AI Research he leads a team investigating anchoring bias in LLMs applied to medical diagnosis. As a Quantum & Machine Learning Research Intern at Turing BioSciences (June–September 2026) he benchmarked quantum error-correction decoders and built qecgen.
- What does he do at KCL Robotics?
- Haider Ali is Head of Humanoid Development (Lead Engineer) at the KCL Robotics Society, where he designed the society’s humanoid robot and leads a five-person team through two builds. He is also its Head of Competitions.
- Where does Haider Ali study?
- King’s College London, where he reads BSc Artificial Intelligence & Computer Science (2025–2028, expected).
- What has he won?
- The HackLondon 2026 Hardware Track (with his team), 1st place in Fox Renderfarm’s FGT3D “The Ruins” Challenge, the BadNormals “World Inside a Glass” competition, 2nd place at a VEX Robotics regional tournament, and a full Algoverse academic scholarship.
- How can I contact Haider Ali?
